KlimaatLINK is a project of University of Antwerp, aiming to bring up-to-date climate knowledge to the citizens and employees of tomorrow. KlimaatLINK provides tangible, science-based teaching material and online information to both teachers and students, across all specialties and education trajectories, aimed primarily at secondary school.
Linking climate science & climate education
Climate change has key impacts throughout society: on economy, on healthcare, on social interactions, on law, ecology and agronomy to name but a few. Efficient solutions and adaptations to climate change thus need to emerge from within society. Architects develop cities adapted to the impacts of climate change, biologists look for synergies between ecosystem restoration and climate mitigation and adaptation, while engineers can design technological solutions. We also need sociologists and well-informed policymakers who are able to deal with the societal consequences of climate change. The all-encompassing nature of climate change, requires insight into the multiple aspects of climate change and climate solutions, and a sound knowledge of potential future scenarios.

Levels of Certification
KlimaatLINK has 3 Supporter levels. Each level builds further on the previous. The University of Antwerp guarantees that your contribution is only used to further strengthen KlimaatLINK’s functioning as an informative and inspiring link between climate science & climate education.
